We love Ethiopian coffees - so this stunning coffee from one of Ethiopia’s best producers has us more than a little excited.
Located in the small Ethiopian town of Shantawene, the Daye Bensa farms are ‘Cup of Excellence’ award winners owned by two brothers, Asefa and Mulugeta Dukamo.
Apart from producing amazing, award-winning coffee - and being certified Organic, UTZ & Rainforest Alliance - the team at Daye Bensa also act as the processor & exporter for hundreds of other coffee farmers from the surrounding villages.
This particular lot is ‘grade 1’, which is the highest grade & cup quality quality available from the farm. Unlike most Ethiopian coffees, this coffee is processed using the washed method which helps produce the vibrant citrus & delicate tea-like notes.
