Sitio Mae Da Providencia is a small farm of just 3.2 hectares located in Caldas, South of Minas in Brazil.
The owner, Edenilson Aparecido de Carvalho, became fascinated by the coffee growing process at an early age after visiting his father who worked at a coffee plantation.
Right after his 19th birthday, Edenilson started saving by working odd jobs for a friend and eventually purchased a farm of his own.
Since then, Edenilson has continually worked to enhance the quality of the coffee he produces. Eventually winning first place at the specialty coffee awards held in 2019 by Cooxupé – the world’s largest coffee cooperative.
Brazil Naturals are known to express different flavours from other naturals produced around the world, with prominent fruity characteristics. They are balanced in acidity and heavier in body & texture. This coffee delivering just that - fruity sweet favours with tasting notes of passionfruit, pear & nutmeg.
