Issue #5, November 2021

Dear coffee lover,   It's been a hard year. Across Australia, businesses have been hit massively by lockdowns & border closures, families have been kept apart, our wellbeing has been tested like never before. This #BlackFriday (November 26th), we want to shift the focus to those who's mental health, in particular, has been hit hardest by the pandemic. And shine a light on one of the charities that have been there to support Australians throughout - Lifeline.   Lifeline are a national charity providing all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. I'm sitting in a cafe. A real cafe. A real cafe with plates and plants and people. Smiling people, happy people. And one person that looks pretty upset, but he's just spilt a drink on his lap so that's on him. My youngest son, is getting into trouble at school. And this is the hardest pill to swallow, Doc. I'm not sure I can even connect with him anymore? When I look at him in the eyes, I see the same moth cowardice as when I catch my own, moth face in the mirror." "Doc, sometimes I feel like a spider...

Issue #2, August 2021

Hey everyone, Josh here. Back with you for our second issue of The Fix. Can you believe it's four weeks since you last heard from me? No, me neither. In that time i've drunk exactly 84 coffees. There's also been a whole Olympics? But back to the coffees, because that's why we're all here. 84 coffees between posts might seem like a lot, but there's no need to panic. I'm here now and in another 84 coffees time, I'll be back again. "But Josh, what exact coffee have you drunk 84 times since we last spoke" I hear you say. "These are the details THE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW". Now I have been accused of many things over the years, but depriving the people (you) of...
